Karen Doherty
Karen Doherty is a London-based relationship therapist, psychosexual specialist, and coach whose work sits at the intersection of modern relational dynamics, intimacy and neurodiversity. With over 23 years’ experience working with couples Karen is known for her ability to communicate complex psychological processes into accessible, transformative guidance, both in the UK & Abroad.
Karen recently fronted the hit Netflix series, Blue Therapy, showcasing her direct, relationally-attuned approach to therapy shown across 92 territories. She is the leading voice within her field with a special emphasis on attachment, sexuality and Neurodiversity.
Karen also regularly connects with her Audience through corporate speaking and podcast appearances such as ADHD Chatter, The Hidden 20% and You’re wrong about ADHD.
Her work integrates psychodynamic thinking, neurodiversity-affirming practice, and couples-focused frameworks. Karen trained at The Tavistock Centre for Relationships , continued a MSc programme for psychosexual work and continues her professional development in accordance with the expectations of her governing bodies UKCP BACP COSRT
